mole trapper 1,693
Steyr pro hunter in stainless/ synthetic for me in 243, so happy with it i bought another one the same but in 6.5x55 great guns, if i didnt have these i would probably go back to the Tika T 3 in the same spec, would be about £i00 better off but not the same standard of finish. Good luck whatever your choice. MT Quote Link to post
Sako.243 1
IMHO iwould defo recommend a S/S Sako 75 hunter .243, I use mine for everything from Fox, red,roe and whatever else comes into site. I use 100grn Sako game head bullets and get excellent results. Oh and fit a good scope !! The best you can afford. Quote Link to post
highlander 0
I have a tikka t3 lite stainless synthetic in .243 its a cracking rifle. I only had it for about 6 months but killed a hell of alot of stuff with it. I use fedral classic 100grain and I get very good grouping with it. Regards highlander Quote Link to post
SNAP SHOT 194
HI sounder, well if your on a tight budget i'd go for the tikka t3, an fit the best scope you can afford, if your not on a budget an your feeling flash i'd splash out on the new sako85 in stainless/syn my friend has one an its excellent, i have a tikka m595 in stainless/syn and get great results with it from reds to sikka and fallow no problems at all as long as your sensible, the .243 will do the job, but for me it would have to be the sako 85 only i cant afford one at the minute, the tikka an sako barrels are made in the same factory, but the tikka t3 is made to a good retail price ona budget this would be my choice with either a leupold or schimdt and bender scope...................good luck wih the shopping Quote Link to post
