Guest cookiemonsterandmerlin
Well with OSR looking like its been rollered flat the woodies hordes have been heaving over the fields as it ripening and the tiny black seed it waiting for them to be hoovered up by the woodies. Completely diffrent day to the other day very still and sunny I chose a single ash tree thats well used and shot thousands of birds from over the last 20 years. The shooting was steady and was letting them pull up into the tree not very sporting but shooting them over the rape would just spill even more black gold. Finnished with 42 all stuffed with OSR and wheat ATB Cookie 1 Quote Link to post
hotshot2me 31
Well done mate, we haven't got the problem of layed crops, although we've had the rain in our part of Yorkshire not heavy enough to flatten crops, our problems been on Sprouts, and cabbages, but the pigeons seem to have vanished for the last 2 times we've been out: Dave Quote Link to post
