thanks for the comments guys really appreciated :notworthy: , to think we only got her cos she was the last and smallest in the litter and my missus and teenage daughter (who's left home now) have me wrapped round their little fingers. conditioning her is hard work cos she's a fussy little sod but wer'e getting there, her retrieve is not what i'd like but she's fast, stays and has a decent mouth and had a few decent nights jan/ feb this winter will tell us more, for those in the know her dad was 'stan' and her aunt (maybe cousin) is 'keeps' on here smart bitch 'nuala'. were in ne scotland up at 5.30, 4hrs drive each way to coniston (500 mile round trip) and the judge didn't share your opinion lol, had a good day though put a few more faces to a few more names on here, i thought whin would have been bigger........but his dog was smart,

You struck lucky when you found her birddog :)

You're right Nuala is an aunt, she is out of Stan's litter sister Judy.

is judy not an aunt? so nuala is a cousin then, and i think the dog romany posted is sophie

Yes you're right birddog, its Monday morning and Im half asleep :icon_redface:

Where does Sophie come in, is she in Mollies breeding?

don't think so, mollie was 3/4 bred as far as i know maybe romany was guessing a wee bit or maybe having a wee blond moment, i think now some more details have been added he'll suss it out more

real nice bitch that, and sounds like she is doing ok as well . If i am right she is about 1/4 deerhound to running dog, i think prob wrong though lol. And her size is spot on for any quarry, Bryn my 1x collie grey is 25in but racey get loads of rabbits, so she just bit bigger and not heavy you would good bags no prob. you liked whins dogs then, they are fast + agile dogs .!

If you mean Thorn, ( The Assassin), yeah I knew the dog, not well, but my mate had a match with it, and got beat !! LOL !! A top class dog, and this was before the Saluki Hybrid became popular.

Cheers.

aye ray she's coming on mate but like ive said this winter will tell, don't know the name of his fawn dog you could see the saluki influence and it seemed to have all the right bits in all the right places and in decent nick, i'm sure i've judged some of his breeding in the past they seem to throw similar types
