Guest reload
I worked in greece for a while. The sheperds would give there dog's crushed garlic twice a week, was told by one of them that it prevented worms, flea's and tick's,not sure how right there were but the dog's looked very healthy, and they were never given any medication for worm's or flea's. There right mate, it does prevent fleas, tick and parasites. As well as fighting minor infections. Tablets are best IMO. Just as its a OIL does not mean it does the same thing, cod and evening primrose are totally different. Cod Liver Oil is good, but can over heat some dogs so go easy in the summer months, ideal for older dogs joints as well. I use it every day for the first 12 months of a dogs life as i can help absorption on calcium, and is a good source of omega 3. Evening Primrose Oil(the good quality stuff not the cheap shit) at least 10%GLA is great for coat growth, skin and hormonal imbalances in bitchs. I also use Wheatgerm Oil as it helps skin and nail growth and is ideal to give to a bit that does not take as it increases fertility as its full of Vit E. Regards Reload Quote Link to post
