stroller 341 Posted July 21, 2012 Report Share Posted July 21, 2012 The weather was unseasonably warm last night so i decided to take the pup up to some local ponds with my big dog Bob and a customers dog Otis to introduce the pup gently to water.Remember i didnt want him to swim just have fun in the water, he is a keen little retriever so i was chuffed he went in after the stick. I think he will be fine as a water dog. its all a game and a good introduction wether its to water, shot ,game etc makes things so much easier later on. My wife took the photos i wouldnt know how! Looks like he has all the right instincs and thats a nice young age for him to be confident in water The more i see the HWV the more i like them, i am fancying having one in my kennel in a year or so.
