dicehorn 38
Just bought my son a Daystate Huntsman (expensive but looks good) Question for you guys - what pellets for them that use this model (non FAC) would you recommend using - it is basically for rabbits/rats at no more than about 25 - 30 yards. It is in .22 Thanks - Peter Quote Link to post
AR177 588
AAfield, Bisely Magnums, Accupel, Daystate Rangemaster Li, H&N FTT, JSB Exact They will all do a good job at that distance ATB Adam 2 Quote Link to post

robwelsh 354
I have one in .177, the only ones it groups with consistent are the jsb exacts 4.52, and on doc, everyone else does too. Whether the .22 barrels are any diffrent I don't know..but I do know a lot of people are using jsb in the daystates (walther barrels) also give your barrel a clean ,because when I had mine it had lube in it to stop from rusting, the power crept up an groupings shrunk. The huntsmans are awesome. Another tip, my swp fill pressure is 220 and I always fill to 200-210 because at 220 I find the pellets are a little higher than zero , also top up just above 100bar marker on gauge 120bar roughly. This is what I found anyway. Have fun. Quote Link to post

AR177 588
Either RWS superfields or AA fields, they worked a treat at the june meet, had to switch to the AA fields half way through as i put a little more lead down the barrel than i was expecting and ran out of RWS. I have shot so many brands trying to find a good one it that damn ranger i have come to the conclusion that when the group opens up its just me being crap and not so much the pellets unless you use defiant ogives.... good god they are awful!!! lucky to get a 6inch group with those at 30yrds! alot of them were tried at the june meet they are strange pellets! I havent shot the ranger since then ive been playing with the .22 that i only use H&N FTT .. and i wash an lube them ATB Adam Quote Link to post

Deano122 1
Huntsman or hw100??????which one would u recommend. Quote Link to post
robwelsh 354
Iv shot both, and own a huntsman but wouldn't turn my nose up at the 100 either. I just prefer my huntsman, personal choice. Wood on daystates are better also I think they look more traditional too. But both great guns you won't be disappointed with either. Quote Link to post
mikemjm 6
Falcon Accuracy - lightweight at 13.4 grain with the knock power of 22 and JSB quality, my huntsman loves them Quote Link to post
