I have been in this situation three times. once a dog came in my garden the other in my house. At neither time was my dogs chained. But the police said there was nothing the owners of dogs could do as i had taken all precations to keep my dogs in.

Both dogs left in a mess

The incedent ended up in me being barred from my local, as ther little dog walter kept coming here, the cops said again,it was the owners responsibilty to make sure that there dog was under supervision ;) They took heed with walter and we aint seen him since.

Mate f**k all she can do. The fact that her dog came onto your property is the crux of it. Your dog was just defending itself and its territory.

My uncles (now dead :( ) bull mastiff ripped a dog to shreds that ran into hos garden and picked a fight with it, in full view of both owners who tried to break them up (and guess who was also there visiting  ). My uncles dog was not a violent dog either, wouldnt have went for the other dog unprovoked. Anyway the guy tried to hit my uncle with a 300 pound vet bill, to which my uncle (who felt really bad about the whole thing and kinda to blame for some reason) said he would pay half. But this f****n moron wasnt happy with that and decided to get the police involved. So the police came round and started stroking the dog, who was always as friendly as you like, and basically told my uncle that the guy was in the wrong for allowing the dog onto his land and that he had no right to any portion of the vet bill or any compensation.

This was in scotland about 6 years ago but I think the laws in england will be the same mate. Tell her to f**k off, and if your dog sustained any injuries from this "attack" then make damn sure you report _her_!

Cheers

tell her to kiss your cheery

POSSIBLE OPTION IF SHE CARRYS ON.. :)

Just keep your calm , smile and say, well its a shame you didnt train your dog better or fence your garden off properly. That will really piss her off, cause you are actually putting the blame back onto her, and rightly so.x

Mike; The stupid bitch is sailing dangerously close the the Dangerous Dogs Act there, mate! She is going to tell the Police She had her own Dog " Dangerously out of control ", is she?! :clapper: F*ckin brilliant! It's only that it didn't all kick off in a " Public Place " that'll keep her out of court!

Woman's a din! Tell her I said so. If she doesn't like it, I'll give ye my number and she can ring me. I'll personally tell her she's s din ~ and probably a few more things besides!

Open a can, mate. Sit down. Relax. Have a bloody good laugh about the idiot; Just like we all are! :good:

I s'pose when it gets out and mullers a load of sheep, she'll be blaming the farmer next, for having them there? Total din! Dogs deserve better people.
