neil_fret 6 Posted July 19, 2012 Report Share Posted July 19, 2012 hi all just after a bit of advice my 10 month old lurecher pub Beddy whippet x collie greyhound wont retrieve anymore she has lost interest in toy ( rope balls squeaky toys ) and the dummy she was doing really well then just stopped she will somtimes go get the toy pick it up then just drop it again and comes back to me. can anyone help? ive tried to play tug with her but she doesnt want to do that either Thanks Neil Quote Link to post Share on other sites

mally 832 Posted July 19, 2012 Report Share Posted July 19, 2012 Leave it a couple of weeks and in that time get a rabbit skin and put it around the dummy. Once a dog has learned to retrieve there isn't any need to give them retrieves every day just once a week and only a couple at that. Otherwise you could sicken the dog.
