birddog 1,354
just a wee bit off but i had a grey/collie x grey/whippet 30yrs ago bags of stamina, real fire, good feet and a thick tight waterproof coat she wasn't big about 21" but took daytime hares single handed and a really nimble rabbiter was my introduction to lamping proper...........thanks for the memories rip rose Quote Link to post
Guest born to run1083
I ve seen a few of the above breeding of collie/grey x whippet and all were multi functional dogs. A type of dog that would suit me and my uses. One of The reasons I've been trying to keep close eyes on Flinn haha lol I could use my dads grey but I want to keep the height to where it's at now and using a whip would achieve that and Flinn has some great qualities 1 Quote Link to post

johnny boy68 11,726
Aye Jamie, i could well be badgering you in a couple of years mate Aye mate be a good little breeding that would Finn x Missy, she's a good strong bitch, good feet and coat. Finn is a real good example of a whippet with the added bonus of being a fine worker too, Missy can put a shift in aswell and is a good little bitch who can turn her hand to most types of work, steady with it aswell she is. Aye I think it would be a good pairing. It's just a case to see if they can with stand there work rate over the next few years now but the foundations are there so fingers crossed. Quote Link to post
TOMO 26,814
Not exactly the breeding your on about, but this ones kelpie x grey x whipp/grey,,,, 22" very quick thinking and fast of the mark,, don't think you could go wrong with what your planning for the bunny bashing game. You thinking of him across bron if she proves herself in a few years?? Edited July 20, 2012 by TOMO 2 Quote Link to post
