Carhartt or barbour

After a new coat like the look of carhartt coats but know barbours have stood the test of time I suppose... anyone owned both and can recommend which is best for when out with the dogs ?

I havent had a Barbour for many years now so they may have improved but i do have a Carhartt Chore coat and think its the mutts nuts, i havent had it that long but have washed it about half a dozon times due to it getting coverd in chicken shite and pig shite while out ratting and its held up well, wouldnt like to put a barbour through the same treatment, never had a thorn go through it yet either, get a size bigger than you usully wear though, i paid £65 for mine on the net, regards, buster.
