alcamy22 7 Posted July 17, 2012 Report Share Posted July 17, 2012 Hey folks had a pretty shit evening just got in from burying my 4 yr old beddiewhip x colliehound he was just gone 4 I got a call from a local farmer about rabbits went down put 3 out with terrier which my dog caught he then spotted one under a thistle took chase a just as he went in for the strike he cracked his head off a small boulder type rock he died instantly carrying him back to the car lifeless and limp seemed to take an age and digging that hole was horrible first working dog I've had to bury while out doing his job rip ted Quote Link to post

I know what you mean about carrying them mate.. think the worse part.. or it was for me was by the time i'd dug hole and rigor had set it.. all i can say is what i was told to do last September when my bitch broke her neck was go out n get a new pup in.. you'l feel guilty for a few day with new pup.. but life go's on!
