Bald tail and need help?

Recommended Posts

make sure it aint got no mites or similar, or something that may make the dog scratch it, make sure theres enough room in its run / kennel so it doesnt smack its tail when it wags, all those done, get his bedding out, thoroughly cleanse his kennel etc with a suitable solution just in case, get shredded paper as bedding, wash in hibiscrub a couple of times a day until hair comes back. If that dont work shoot it..... ONLY KIDDING :boogy: , try that first mate, thats what i did with mine and it cleared up, dont even know what caused it, but that hibiscrub is good stuff, i been with working dogs over 25 years and only recently heard of it on here funny enough, i am a fan. hope this helps you out a bit.

aswell as the above advice it is the grains in dogfood that can cause allergies and itching leading to bald patches, and redness, If you can switch over to a grain-free food, it is alot healthier for your dog. If you can't switch to grain-free, then look for foods that have at least 3 or 4 meat sources for the first ingredients. Real meat, not meat by-products. also too many bones (too much calcium) can cause the same problems

also to promote good skin and hair you can use some stuff that is called "evening primrose oil" just add about a teaspoon to the food each day, and flower of sulfur in the drinking water, is good.

Ihad a black dog with this, and nothing helped, I was told it is the same as male pattern baldness in men, and is a testosterone type thing.?? who knows.

Camrosa works bloody miracles though,, I`ve been rubbing on my own heed for ages now !!!
