i was in handcocks kennels they werent as bad as people are making out.their inspected on a regular basis n would be closed down if it were a puppy farm.the dog i had of him turned out well.

Ive been watching this thread last 2 days, i am really quite suprised that there is folks trying to defend him make excuse's for him and sugar coat what he doe's at the end of the day it's upto folk what they do and what they buy and folks morals differ but ye can sugar coat it all ye want when ye strip everything back he is a dog dealer/peddlar nothing more nothing less

Never had one or wanted one due to not believing all the hype about them in the 80s seen one coursing out of the first litter he ever bred and made my mind up they were no better than lurchers being bred in council house back gardens.

I wouldn't buy another from him but I'm 30 years down the line from my 1st one from him.

A lot worse going on the ones i saw being peddeld as coursing bred dogs at the time by hancock.No internet in the 80s but i believe it was a dam sight easier getting a lurcher pup out of working perants then than by going on the bullshit plummer was spouting to premote these factory farmed lurchers.

I think finding a lurcher from good working stock is hard, unless you know the people who are breeding them. If you want a half collie/greyhound then why not use hancock?
