thurso jack 3
just back in from a bit of ratting and i went to check on my ferret as she is due to drop anytime now and i noticed she had a clear discharge around her vulva ealrier today. and to my horror when i looked in i seen 2 pink things not moving in the corner of the hutch outside her nestbox, i thought shit shes had them and killed them, so i left hoping it may have just been a few and she maybe ok with the rest. it wasnt until i went in the house and finished my cuppa that i remeberd that i bloody well gave her a few slices of wafer thin ham before i went out and this was what was sitting in the corner, not dead baby ferrets. anyway thought id just share with you my stupid mistake, as i was a bit depressed before thinking she had killed her kits Quote Link to post

You must have a good market for kits down your way! Have not bred/replaced any for three years, so am seriously in need of some more, especially if the rabbit jobs keep coming in like they have been, generally i have at least twenty ferrets, but at the moment three are geriatrics and five three year olds. Will probably keep 15 jills for myself, always have people wanting ferrets quite a few are spoken for already. People always want them because i am a pesty and think they are superior, or could it be because i give them away. Quote Link to post
