Brian-911 210
Khans had it, he's a good boxer he's fast powerful good boxing brain BUT...the lad can't take a punch full stop ! If you cant take a punch it's pointless fighting because you'll never get to the top. It will make no difference who's coaching him or where he's training, if you cant take a whack it's over ! And this mayweather talk...khan wouldn't last the first round !!

If everyone with faults packed their sport in because they couldnt reach the top what a gutless bunch we would all be ! Edited July 18, 2012 by gnasher16
PlasticJock 539
Not to mention that most are winding down by the time they reach 30 odd, so they need to support themselves for the rest of their lives.
Malt 379
I can't believe people are calling him out for his chin after the manner he got whacked in the neck like that. Not many people would be able to take a good whack like that there and carry on. If he's to be criticised in this case, I think it should be for a lack of respect to his opponent and a poor defence. Saying 'he's shit because he's got a weak chin' is just the easiest thing to come out with because it's something he is also known for..
blackmaggie 3,376
i think khan never recovered from the first knock down [which was a very good shot ] and was it right for his corner to let him go out again in the 4 th knowing he wasnt right ? khan is now talking of a split with his roach now does he blame roach or does he have a issue with pacman who takes alot of roachs time up as i heard he was fed up of playing second fiddle to pacman [paper talk ]

Tactically Khan cant complain,if Roach told him to clinch and hold out the round, but he chose to open up then its his own fault for not listening to his corner. I always thought somebody like Manny Steward would better suit Khan......Manny is more of a people person than Roach.....Roach is like an engine tuner he can get the very best out of what a car has to offer.....but Manny can connect with a fighters mind and get the best out of him that way..... For me Khan is like a highly tuned top performance Ferrari he looks great in full flight but the slightest little bump in the road and he ends up on his roof in flames !!......He needs consistency and discipline in his preparation thats instilled in his mind come fight night.....so i can see where Roach wouldnt be able to offer that with a bigger fighter like Paquiao. the_stig 6,614
There are two ways to go for him stig either get right back onto the saddle as they say or take a year out not partying but get away get is head back into the right. Place new surroundings traing camp etc etc come back climb. The next mountain he is defiantly at a cross roads he`s said still a lot he wants out the game ..

He's got heart and he will get back up but once he's had one whack that's the end of his fight he can't recover from getting caught never has never will. He will only ever be able to fight average fighters because the top ones will know it only takes one punch and the fights there's.

I haven't said he's shit, he's far from shit I actually said if you read my post properly that he's a good boxer but his major and I mean MAJOR downfall is he can't take a punch what so ever. If you can't take a punch youll never make it in the big time. Everyone who fights khan from now in knows how to win and theyll do it. Shame really cos I think he would of be one of the best if he could take a few whacks

Are you aware the boys already won a world title......he,s already fighting at the very highest level and making a good living................he,s never going to be an all time great........but why on earth would he go back to fighting 8 rounders against average opponents at area title level Do you only play cards if your guarenteed the win ?.....no,you do your best with the hand your dealt.
