I t amuses me all these arm chair boxing experts on THL the punch that started the damage on Khan was landed on the side of the neck and imo Khan has a decent chin look when he fought maidana ...Maid

Just for some of you lads claiming this myth that GREAT fighters have great chins......   Tommy Hearns NIgel Benn Diego Corrales Zab Judah Terry Norris Michael Grant Vladimir Klitchsko Marvis

Khan has probably the fastest hands in the weight division and also some tidy footwork, just a shame he doesnt put it to good use. I dont know why he lets himself get drawed into to brawls. Is it his

Lol after his reflex had gone you make some good points in general alf but your not the only one who has followed boxing I included boxers who I rated as skill full at their craft and could take big shots and carry on not invincible no one is , as for the boxing new yes I've read. It since a young lad how else would you. Glean knowledge. Of over seas boxers and fights pre sky etc althought I have a vast collection old recorded fights I could ad a lot of other great under card boxers who never made the lime light but carnt be arsed , Difference is khans a manipulated. Boxer not he fault the kid is talented but they will squeeze. Every £££££££££ out as they all ways do hail king frank the British. Don king . As for Ali. Goes just be stating the obvious Bit like picking an all time England team without bobby more the Tom thief eh lol

:D ......I understand loyalty to your area......im exactly the same.....but come on,Shea Neary,Hodgkinson and Holligan on a list of " great " fighters  ................my ol mucker Dennis Andries had possibly the best chin ive ever seen or felt on a fighter past or present.....but i certainly wouldnt call him a " great ".....

Listing little flyweights from the 60,s nobodies ever heard of in your list of greats dont make for great conversation so that kind of puts a full stop to that as ive never looked at the boxing mags so wont be able to recall as many as you ;)

As for Frank Warren.....ive said it before and i,ll say it again.....this is pro boxing mate not amateur.......when theres bills to pay with your talents and its not just a hobby not everything is done in an idealistic way like it is in the amateurs....................show me another man in the history of British boxing who has given more opportunities and done more for young British fighters than Frank.....and we,ll talk ;)

Gonetoearth....if i took your humour in the wrong way i apologise......i find your views on boxing very naive sometimes....ive met a lot of people like you who have these idealistic views from the amateurs who pop their head round the corner every now and then to have a dig at the pro game......Tony Burns has been like it 40 years and ive never managed to get on with him either !!......Boxing is not like football......football is exactly the same game amateur or pro......boxing is a totally different game from amateur to pro the first thing most pro trainers have to do is get a kid out of his amateur ways........the goals are different, the priorities are different the whole sport is different......until you have tried to make a living through the game or been closely around people that do then maybe you will never quite grasp it,i just find it a tad disrespectful the way people like you raise your head every now and then to insult the pros.......i have every respect for the amateur game,i dont like it and its not my cuppa tea but i respect what it is and dont badmouth it........

I guess its all about respect........and ive showed you every respect over time....when about this time last year all my instincts were telling me not to ;) ...but me being a nice chap and not wishing to embarass my fellow man,i let it slide...............................so if i took your comment the wrong way then that would be why.....my guess is you,ll know exactly what im on about but pretend not to.

NO bud i no the pro game is a complete differant game and yes i have been very involved you have taken all my comment out of context my above selection of my favs are just that oh and yes your are right the three amigos were not great just local greats but that aint no bad thing , we all have are opininon , and yes the first thing a pro trainer has to do is get the am out of them thing is bud some times you can lead a horse etc etc , , your guess is right but no dissrespect intended ;)
