gnasher16 30,594
Gonetoearth....if i took your humour in the wrong way i apologise......i find your views on boxing very naive sometimes....ive met a lot of people like you who have these idealistic views from the amateurs who pop their head round the corner every now and then to have a dig at the pro game......Tony Burns has been like it 40 years and ive never managed to get on with him either !!......Boxing is not like football......football is exactly the same game amateur or pro......boxing is a totally different game from amateur to pro the first thing most pro trainers have to do is get a kid out of his amateur ways........the goals are different, the priorities are different the whole sport is different......until you have tried to make a living through the game or been closely around people that do then maybe you will never quite grasp it,i just find it a tad disrespectful the way people like you raise your head every now and then to insult the pros.......i have every respect for the amateur game,i dont like it and its not my cuppa tea but i respect what it is and dont badmouth it........ I guess its all about respect........and ive showed you every respect over time....when about this time last year all my instincts were telling me not to ...but me being a nice chap and not wishing to embarass my fellow man,i let it slide...............................so if i took your comment the wrong way then that would be why.....my guess is you,ll know exactly what im on about but pretend not to.
