gnasher16 30,024
I t amuses me all these arm chair boxing experts on THL the punch that started the damage on Khan was landed on the side of the neck and imo Khan has a decent chin look when he fought maidana ...Maidana was one of the hardest punchers in the light welter wieght divison at the time and im sure he had about 25 kos in 28 fights when he fought Khan an he landed some big punches on Khans chin but Khan came through to win the fight the 2 ko khan has been down with have been lucky punches ....Garcia caught him with a near haymaker of a left hook that Khan should never of never been caught much the same punch Prescott caught him with but to question his chin is laughable the amount of punches he took if he had a glass chin khan woulkd never of made it to the end off the 4th against Garcia ....and the decision that he was beat by Peterson was out and out cheating .....theres no doubting khans ability and its more the colour of his skin that a lot of yous dont like him ....I dont think he has a glass chin I just think he gets a bit careless some times that allows big punches to land on him .... Khan is the sort of fighter who can start fast and dictate when things are going his way.......but when it comes to punch resistance he,s like a lot of fighters today who have never had hard sparring in the gym,he needs to warm into taking shots......if the first big shot he gets tagged with isnt a destroying punch it will more than likely do him good and his resistance will actually improve the more he takes,as is what happened in the Maidana fight............he will always be an exciting fighter to watch as he has that vulnerability about him but he,s definately gone as far and probably a little bit beyond his level. The first punch that caught him was what we used to call " the golf swing ko "............the opponents not looking at you but just winds up a big swing trying to catch you coming in.............it looked like it caught him on the hinge of the jaw/neck.....which as any fighter knows is a horrible place to get caught as it knocks your balance for six....its like getting punched in the ear your not necessarily hurt your just all over the place..................i felt Khan showed a slight lack of heart when the referee was counting him, when your desperate to fight on you try to convince the referee your ok.....if your half hearted about fighting on you dont try to convince the ref and in doing so give him a reason to stop it..............which is exactly what Khan did. whippet 99 2,613
what the full fight http://sosoboxing.co...s-danny-garcia/ lucky punch to the neck.. all khan needs to do is keep his feet planted on the floor and keep his right had up when he's throwing his left.. khan is the better fight of the two! makes no odds , its what happens on the nite, no ifs , no butts , he lost. same as most sports you dictate all the way through the game then some one goes through a little gap and scores , its gutting but your only as good as your last match

redcharge 378
Khan has probably the fastest hands in the weight division and also some tidy footwork, just a shame he doesnt put it to good use. I dont know why he lets himself get drawed into to brawls. Is it his ego? or lack of concentration? who knows? how somebody with his ability got caught with a shot like that so early on in a fight is beyond me. It was a big mistake to make and possibly could cost him his career.

ferretville 69
Yet again khan cant follow a game plan . Freddie roach wanted him to throw 3-4 punches and move in out . Keep the right hand up whilst unleashing the left .Even in the first round garcia slipped a left in and you could tell he had sum power in his punches. Khan should be using his technical ability to greater affect not letting his ego show he`s a warrior. A really dont know were khan will go from here as a cant see garcia giving him a rematch not when he just whooped his ass. As for garcia a think he just made a few people take note . Got real power in them gloves but we will see what happens next .
