New springer

hi all,and to secretagentmole and mary who wanted pics when i got it,i brought myself a new hw97kt and picked it up this morning about 9.15 as soon as they were open,i do like the thumbhole stock it looks fantastic and the adjustable but pad very handy,got home fitted my scope to it and then went to my brother in laws farm to get it set up,set my target up at 20m and got myself set up,i shot about 50 pellets of at random just to get the crap out the barrel,then started on the target,the first lot of targets i did were a long way out about 20 clicks later i was on the bull area, then i go distracked when my brother in law decided to get his toys out the 2 i had a go with was a hw 100 in .22 and a daystate huntsman in 1.77 both great rifles he has allso go a a few more top rifles to, lucky git if only you had the money,but saying that he allways says i can use them anytime which is nice to no :D he also gave me a rifle bag to lay on the ones that fold out, nice one ,i did offer to pay for it but wouldent take anything for it.so all in all a great day out got in about 5.will be out tomoz to get some more lead though the barrel and set it up at 30m this time, i think the wheathers good,so roll on tomoz bye all.

Great rifle, looks fantastic too, would love a Thumbhole stock, my 97k is my favourite rifle, accuracy is not far off my HW100! Should last a lifetime too.

I'd agree the plastic thumbhole would be my choice as there is a new .22 one on a Facebook page for 270 but I am very tempted when I get back from my holiday
