Great rifle, looks fantastic too, would love a Thumbhole stock, my 97k is my favourite rifle, accuracy is not far off my HW100! Should last a lifetime too.

I'd agree the plastic thumbhole would be my choice as there is a new .22 one on a Facebook page for 270 but I am very tempted when I get back from my holiday

Congrats mate.

A lovely rifle you have there.

Very nice groups as well on that target board, I'm very impressed buddy  .

I have to agree too, the HW97KT is also now my favourite rifle and since getting it back from SFS I haven't used any of my pcps in the day time yet  .

Ill agree with the accuracy being almost as good as my HW100 S too when I manage to shoot it correctly. It out shoots me easily anyway.

Very nice rifle, starting to wonder if i should have bought one if these instead of a TX200... :)

Blasphemy! Take it back. Moderator delete his post, he's swearing!

Hahahaha I know what you mean. It's that Thumbhole stock that does it for me. I had a Sporter stock 97K and it lost out to the craftsmanship and refinement of that on the TX200. Otherwise I couldn't make my mind up, both superb quality pieces of kit. I know each to their own, some hate the thumbholes but for me its a very smart move on Wiehrauch's part and is enough to keep the 97 forever lurking in my mind...

hi si,yes i like it a lot,i you have to think more with the springer with the recoil theres more skill required but i am getting there, you need plenty of practice with them they are heavy to hold but do have that build quality with the hw97 and you havent got the hassle of pumps or cylinders to worry about, but will get a hw100 next year i hope depends on work realy.

better grip better control with thumbhole and thats what you need when shooting with a springer and it looks great.

You'll never get one, because you know if you do the blunderbuss will not get used anymore.
