Flow 18
A Falcon FN-19 single shot in .177 for a very good price. It was in a right state before I started work on it. It was covered in camo duck tape, obviously hiding the mess of a rifle underneath. I removed it to find the bluing was almost non existent with rust everywhere, the stock looked like it had been dragged around on the floor, and the silencer was rusty with badly faded bluing. Also the glue form the tape was everywhere. This is the photo my mate sent me; Its a shame I didn't take photos myself, before, and during the restoration (I will next time). And here she is now; The photos don't really do the metal work justice. First off I used 320 grit wet and dry to remove all of the bluing and rust, then 400, 800, 1200, and 2000 grit. I finished it off with .0000 wire wool, then machine polished it to make it nice and shiny. Next I removed the clamps, trigger guard, trigger, and silencer, primed them, sprayed them gloss black before lacquering them. Then I machine polished the stock to bring it back to its former glory. I'm really pleased with it, let me know what you think. Thanks. Edited July 13, 2012 by Flow Quote Link to post

masmiffy 82
Looks very nice and a steal at the price! I still use a .22 Titan manitou (see avatar) and wouldnt swap it. May well do a stock job on it soon, get rid of the gloss finish they used and just oil it! Quote Link to post
