thedogman199 51
Hi all not moaning hear however I just want to inform people or the almost criminality of some of paypals actions and to warn others who may fall in to the trap whilst selling on ebay, ebay has done nothing wrong in my issue, paypal however has levels of incomprehensible bad service from a multi national company, for example placing 21 day holds on accounts unjustifiable, inaccuracies in policies, blatantly luring customers in to contract changes with clever wording and the most worrisome of it all you can't do anything about it as there complaint procedures are nill and void, I am in the process of contacting the financial services authority and as many newspapers who will listen to me , for those of you who have been affected by paypals actions please feel free to get in contact with me for those of you who haven't your very lucky!!!! thedogman199 51
I'm glad to hear that most people are getting good service but now I'm wondering what I've done to upset them lol, I'm not that bad, bit strange at times but I would never intentionally upset someone, I've never had a bad comment for my sales, I thought that there would be lots of people affected by paypals policies but now I'm feeling on my own lol cheers for all your posts guys

Strong Stuff 2,171
THE worst company ever to deal with when a problem occurs. They always side with the buyer, even when the buyer has history of claiming refunds for non delivered items. They froze my account with a few hundred quid in for 180 days after I complained about them giving free refunds without even checking if I had proof of postage. http://www.paypalsucks.com/ Just google paypal problems and you'll soon see there are plenty of people who've been stung by them. secretagentmole 1,701
Just go in, hand over £1 and say I would like to set up a savings account! They open it up, you then have an account people can pay into, but only you can withdraw money from. With a savings account no standing orders or direct debits can be set up on it! Safe you see. People can pay in anywhere there is a branch and if they pay cash it appears same day, else they can transfer money in like into a current account, but it can take up to 3 days to appear that way. Works brilliantly, no fees, percentages skimmed off, nothing like that and no lock up for months whilst they sit around with their fingers up their backsides either! secretagentmole 1,701
Well you have been lucky then, many people have been caught out by the easily abused buyer protection system! There are honest people out there, unfortunately paypal seems to seek to punish them! Read Strongstuffs link, very very eye opening!
