I prefer bringing on a pup, but getting a sapling or adult dog can work out well if you get the RIGHT dog ! Problem is, around 99.9% of Lurchers that get passed on are ruined by inexperienced owners,

Gerrof with you, nowt like having a pup , had time of my life when i had a litter, kept 1 back for myself, trained her up nicely, other folks cast offs, no thank you rip katie

everybody can and will make mistakes with dogs, the thing is, a lot dont learn from them and blame their mistakes on the dog and the merry go round continues

there are good adult dogs out there that occasionally come along for sale and with a genine reason for doing so but there are an awfull lot of people out there that are for want of a better word peddlars who are out to make a quick few quid and dont mind telling lies and /or exagarating to get a quick sale.the type skycat is on about which have been left unsociallised in a pen and not handled or botherd with and are big saplings should imo be left alone because in the majority of cases unless someone real experienced gets them will never amount to much and just get passed from pillar to post with more lies each time their sold on .but just sometimes the real deal can come along if your really lucky.
