Selling my TX200 Mk3 in .22 calibre. Gun is in excellent condition and internals have been smoothed out. It has a Bushnell 3-9x40 IR scope and an air arms threaded silencer. Shoots beautifully at just a tad under 12 ft ibs and will come complete with a Titan XS spare spring. I will email pics if you are genuinely interested and I am looking for £235 posted or face to face in Glos,Wilts, Avon areas etc. It has the fishtail chequering and is a really fine gun that will enhance your hunting trip. I posted that I'd take it at the asking price - and mine seems to be the only such acceptance - pm'd to that effect, asked for payment details, received the reply:-

"Not Paypal, We can do a bank transfer and when I receive the funds I will post immediately. Cheers Arn" and then today received a change of mind from this seller:-

"The first offer I had for the full amount came from Charlie Nellie but if there is a slip up tomorrow re payment I will be in touch. Cheers Arn".

 

I wonder what happened in the meantime.

Hi, its Arn, there has been considerable interest in the gun and I tried replying to all mail as soon as possible. However, I stayed over at my Girlfriends house and was not able to answer everone. On returning home I realized that the first firm offer came from the nellie guy and tried to contact everyone to inform them of the situation. As I stated, if the deal falters tomorrow you are next in line and I will get back to you one way or another. I had no intention of messing anyone around but I cant sell it to you all so I am trying to be fair and getting slagged off. I hope that this clarifies the situation. Arn

Sorry you may have been disappointed, but there doesn't appear to have been any "change of mind from the seller" nor dishonour.

I'm a man of my word, which I take very seriously, and your insinuation brings that into question. I would not lay my reputation on the line by seconding a man I did not deem worthy.

Arn has joined this forum following my recommendation that I believe it to be second to none for info and trade. Trustworthy and friendly chaps. That's been my experience. I vouched for Arn as he is new and I'm better known therefore buyers could buy with assurance (though completely unrequired in Arn's case).

With comments like the above you also risk giving Arn reason to doubt my word...

To echo the comments above I met Arn this afternoon to buy an S200 from him and found him a great guy to deal with.

Also I saw the TX200, what a beauty! Charlie Nellie is going to be chuffed to bits
