Before i get 18 reply`s that its easy to do , and i can do it myself , yes i know i can . I have all the oils and grain sealers i`ll need to oil a tree , but its time i dont have . AR177 588 Posted July 13, 2012 Report Share Posted July 13, 2012 I know the pain buster Took me ages to get round to finishing my stock, I think Marksman had finished 2 rifle refurbs by the time i had done my 1 stock! Because i had such little time i was rushing and it could of turned out alot better, its ok and will do for what i want it for ..... but to be 100% happy with it you need to take your time Good luck mate hope it turns out well ATB Adam Quote Link to post

You only have to take one look at his stocks lol infact, he bought a plain stock an sold his other one..didn't want to take it hunting etc lol beautiful wood fair play to the guy...think he said its 100 quid cos it takes about +hrs Quote Link to post

As said , the thing with stocks and oil is ....... once a day for a week once a week for a month and once a month for a year ....... How can a stock absorb all that oil in 5 , 16 hour days ............ thats with a full strip and prep ............... Quote Link to post
