gnasher16 30,493
Without having a look i think Charlton was all time top scorer with 50......Owen was 3rd or 4th with 40.......................................and Shearer scored 30.........so yep sure. Not saying he was a better player like but better scorer proven........infact if im not wrong David Platt had the same ratio as Shearer something like a goal every 3 hours Edited July 13, 2012 by gnasher16

theferreter 311
andy corroll will be a great striker at the right team just not the pool they should cut there losses short and sell him to fulham for 9 mill plus clint dempesy corroll needs the service from the wide players or he wont get your team goals still think he should of stayed at the toon

What makes me laugh is whenever a player gets bought for millions he automatically gets in the next England squad , yet before he signs the Big Money deal he isnt in with a shout .... its as if all off a sudden that player is international class because a club has paid ridiculous over the top money , bet if Carroll goes he will slowly be omitted from England !! pip1968 2,490
it looks like carrol might be going back to the toon on loan i bet if they make an offer for a more perminant move liverpool will lose big money
Romany 1,065
If Carrol goes back to the toon, it will be for the same price Liverpool paid for him, which, wasnt £35 million, that was the agreed price for the media by Ashley and Liverpool so that there wasnt a mass revolt by Newcastle fans..thought everyone new that.. Do believe Liverpool shouldnt sell or loan big Andy, and if they do, my bet this season is that Liverpool wont be in the top 10 teams, we are well and truely f****d now....

IMHO Liverpool have not been a " top team" for years as far as the league is concerned, they are a shadow of the team that won so many honours. But, they have seen good runs in the champions league in recent years so fans should be very happy with that. But one things for sure, Manchester United, City or ( god forbid) Chelsea they certainly are not.
