i have recently just got a two month old polecat jill aand ive noticed that it chanters or cries all the time ,does this mean anything?

She is young at 8 weeks old many dont let them go untill 10-12 weeks old. She is in a new surrounding on her own, new smells etc. Cant you get her a mate, ferrets do better with company.

Out of interest, why do you have 60 ferrets / kits?

 

And it will still cry if in a seperate cage, to the others, because its seperated, even though it can see them.

If he's doing racing and church fun days I'd guess he's running a rescue. Dealing with the cast offs from all those who only keep ferrets for the season.
