Roy64 3 Posted July 29, 2012 Report Share Posted July 29, 2012 I have shot dozens in my time with Alphamax No 4 shot. Range is the critical factor and I wouldn't attempt a shot above 25 yards and then only side on in the chest area with this load. Never had a runner doing this. If going with much bigger load and shot size more care must be taken with backstops etc but agreed range would be considerably more. Quote Link to post
