hi i have some land not much, but looking for a cheap Rangefinder would a golf Rangefinder work only need it up to 60-70 yards, if any one know.

If the range finder is a cheap one that uses the golf flag post to mesure your distance then no good .if it is a laser range finder with the word golf written on it then that will work .

The cheapo one will work if you fill the field your shooting in with golf pin flags

I brought one not to long ago from eBay, it was £95 posted from hong kong.

I had it within a week and can't fault it.

The one I got was camo/realtree and it's perfect for hunting!!

Looking myself and the Hawke 400 LRF appears to be just a shade over £100 new and also gets reasonable reviews. Picking one up at the weekend.

i bought one of these just after xmas and find it a really good piece of kit. Its always in my shooting bag and very useful for long range shooting with my .17hmr as well as airrifle. Is also a handy monocular as its x6 mag

I have the Hawke LRF600 and it's an awesome bit of kit for just £115, that's what I paid anyhow, and as optelic2 says, 6x mag makes it a very handy monocular too.

i have also brought the hawke lrf600 recently for the same money and its a cracking bit of kit , i went for the 600 instead of the 400 because the 600 is waterproof great for the money

Not waterproof, shower proof, I have that under a different name, a Longridge Pinpoint, exactly the same article, just we picked ours up for about £50 off ebay last year.... Sold as a golf accessory, so look for Longridge Pinpoint there, 500 metre range, shower proof, various modes, great bit of kit!
