Patience Pays Off

Recommended Posts

blew off a few cobwebs and Dusted down the Air Ranger a week or so ago for the purpose of eliminateing a pesky Squirrell .

to cut a long story short its been running havoc around the aviaries chewing the mesh roof and also encouraging the birds to crash into the net to catch the bloody thing, the final straw came when its been pinching the few cherries off the cherry tree.

time and time again I saw him out there and the bloody thing would be off as soon as I walked out with the gun :censored:,. today was a different story!! I stuck some Camo on and sat and waited and waited and waited until the little shit finally showed itself behind me on a wild cherry, I managed to turn slowly get the shot off which thankfully put pay to him ever doing it again.

I'm surprised to be honest how sweet the Ranger has stayed on zero, the pellet struck him just under the eye and took him clean out!! pleased is a understatement .

cheers, Jasp

nice one lads ....

I wasn't going to bother putting a post up just for one squirrell but I reckon I earned that one waiting for him for the best part of a day. Patience is not a strong point as I have got older but have to say I enjoyed sitting quiet and watching all the wildlife, I could of had a pigeon a few times landing close by but its was Mr Squirrell I had the gripe with ..

Well worth posting with a write up Jasper. Proves what you can do when you convince your quarry you are not "there". And it's nice to read something from you again!

All the best.
