jacked off with seeing ( 100% ) lurchers for sale

Recommended Posts

sure if your getting rid of a dog you should do your research who it could be going to ... and same if your buying one ...

ive got a 10 month old pup here im going to gift to some one as i dont like it and i aint bonding with it right ... now ive spoke to 3-4 people about this bitch and each one ive told them the dog would not suit them or advised them to look at pups which would better suit them (staffy-poacher is the most recent)

the dog is for free as its a pup and untried if it was one of my others id rather pts than get rid

Watch the PM's roll in now

i hope so as the bitch is 100% will make a top class bitch in the right hands , only getting rid as i have to many dogs and 4 babies on the way and im moving house tomorrow to a differant country

The amount of dogs iv seen for sale since end of season is no bodys buisness, iv seen the same dog for sale 7 times in two month all diffrent owners. Then the famouse line ( dog for sale as im moving

Not having a dig at you mate, but i've been homeless split up with lass and i still kept my dogs, so its no excuse for me. guns and other bits and bobs can go as you can always go out and buy the sam

My "pretentious" remark was about you "never giving a trial" and only dealing with "reputable dog men".   You don't have to give someone a dog for a week, simply take them out and let them see it wo

I have sold a dog on here, I couldnt get on with her as she wanted to kill my ferrets, I sold her to someone off here who lives quite close to me

. This guy is very knowlegable and good with terriers. Since he had her we have kept in touch and she is doing well. So its not all bad on here but I think it pays to check out who you are selling to

Graham a think we have been on the same group, iv talked to a few people on the net for advice a few month ago as my dog sropped running the lamp because he wouldnt look down the beam because he just wanted to hunt up all sorted now with that matter. Anyway i asked for advice on the matter and alot of the replys was sell the dog, if that dog was mine it wouldnt of came home with me.

That pissed me off after all the work i put into this dog it would never get sold, took the dog on thr lamp to try again and he was back on track catching off moat slips. I bet there is people on here also that would of sold the dog if in my situation.

I had problem with my last bitch (shes dead now) she lifted her first bunny a 8 month old on lamp..then for about 2/3 month out 3/4 nights a week she would just run the lamp and not strike at the bunny..really pissed me off, thort it would all come good. but still had it playing on my mind at time she would not..but i stuck with her and she turned out better than i hopped..wonder how many would of got rid.. i guess a good few, as the see post on here of dogs catching 20-40 bunnys a night and expect their 6 month old pup to do the same...

all these news stories and dangerous dog programmes are the media swaying the public ready for the introduction of a bill to make micro chipping compulsuary. bet you a pound to a penny the vets cash in with a nice hike in chipping prices.

Thats what i'm saying..but i feel its not gong to stop at that...

all them peddlers make us look bad as everyone thinks that how we all are in the hunting world

I'm sure your on about the same page that i look at all the time on facebook..It makes me sick..

all the bullshit on their, new baby so i can't have 2 lurchers, moving house, to many dogs so i have to get rid, me and my lass has split up , so have to get rid..LOL well not of that washers with me,, because i could never get rid of my dogs and none of them things stated is an excuse..

then we've got the people just breeding and breeding for money...real lads will just keep what the need and gift them to mates and people they can trust, and the left overs well I know what i'd rather do than have any pup i breed been passed around..but then i give a f**k

Probably mate there are a few, I came of most of those groups within days of joining them as realised was not going to be of benefit in any way to me. Some are not too bad but it just depends who is looking after them. And since most groups allowed all members to be listed publicly I figured it would be too easy for some do gooder to go on a print off a big list of all the members names...

somethings going to change soon, just look at all the dogs in the homes!

I don't want new laws made up about keeping dogs but it maybe for the better,,

I was thinking something, like you buy a pup its chipped and other forms of id its in your name for its life..you can be the only owner, so if you want rid its a trip to the vets for you and the dog..then people would get dogs put the time in and not pass them on.. It needs a lot more thinking and planning to get right but something needs done!

Or say if you really need to get rid make it £300 to change names..but still in my eyes their never a reason to get rid. as i stated in my above post..last things to go wold be my dogs..even if i had to live in a tent they would be with me!

I have to disagree with you on that last bit mate. There are sometimes real genuine reasons to get a dog rehomed. Sometimes circumstances are so bad, different or out of their hands that a dog has to be rehomed.

guns and other bits and bobs can go as you can always go out and buy the same bit of kit you had and have it to be 100% alike, can't with a dog..but i get on with my dogs better than people

Then the famouse line ( dog for sale as im moving house) another ( dog is 100% on everything jusr have too many dog)

However asoon as one dog is sold they are wanting a new lurcher or terrier cheap or free to good home, the lurcher world makes me sick sometimes if thesw dogs wer giving hakf a chance they possible could be decent animals but having 7 or 8 diffrent homes before 12 month old is no life for a dog.

Nothing but dirty dog pedderling doley bums.

Rant over. Ps sorry for any spelling mistakes as im on me phone.

Aye like you say it happens all the time and if you're in Durham you'll be right in the middle of it, never seen as many lurchers for sale anywhere else in the UK as there are in Durham. Last year My mate travelled to Hartlepool to see a dog work on the lamp and although it was a 300 mile round trip it was worth it as the dog certainly wasn't as described. It caught nothing, never got close to catching and wouldn't even jump a standard sized fence even though on the phone the lad said it caught most things it ran, jumped anything etc etc. My mate could've had it delivered without seeing it but was glad he'd travelled over even though he was £40 out of pocket.

As has already been said if you're buying make sure you see the dog working and if the owner refuses you a trial forget it, if the dog is 100% he'll gladly give a trial as he'll have nothing to hide.Anyone that buys a crock o' shit is as much to blame as the seller, do your homework before parting with your cash.

Of course there can be circumstances where it makes sense to get rid of them. but for me I cant understand what those circumstances would be. I spent last season paralysed/bed ridden in hospital and the earlier start of this year learning to walk again and the worst my dogs got was fat from not being walked enough.

Everyones situations are different and yes some extreme things happen in life where everything needs to be put on hold but the issue is more those that get bored and move dogs on every month when the 'next best thing' comes along.

the problem is lads see good dogs and want the same, but want it now, without putting the work in, so they buy in dogs advertised as this and that, that are doomed to failure from the start and so get chucked back on the merrygo round of ever decreasing knowledge and care. :cray:

Yeah i live 20 min drive from durham. I can honestly say that the most pedderling goes on in the north east. Just the other day i had a lad ask to use my dog as a stud and he offerd me £100 stud fee and he seemed shocked when i told him no. As i told him the dog is only 15 month old, so he is to young to breed off aswell asthe on coming season will be his first full season of work and a wouldnt let anyone use him ad rather some genuine person who thinks my dog will bring something to there strain of lurcher.

I had Meg (hancock bred bitch), who i got a litter from and that produced Coco(one of my current lurchers). However, when coco got to about 2 years old, meg just wanted to kill her for some reason, a real hatred. I didn't have the space for kennels and both lived indoors. Meg was a "one man-onedog" sort of bitch. I know for a fact if didn.t get meg rehomed then coco would have been dead. There were some other factors, that made me come to my decision. But i think a dogs health is the priority, not my well being of keeping both dogs. The good thing i know is...Meg is one very contented pooch now. I was gutted, but lived with the decision.

its the same day in day out, idiots with 100% dogs for sale yet when the question is asked for what reason is the dog for sale and can it be seen working the bulls*#t excuses start flying, end of the day honesty is the best policy they only end up lookin a twat when the dog doesnt do as it was stated to do
