Holdaway 2 Posted July 14, 2012 Report Share Posted July 14, 2012 The wire should be .457mm brass spun into a 6 strand snare about 24 - 26 inches long for hares. Set em high. It sounds like your snares are being hit and flattened by whatever is passing by. Set them high and cross the middle of a beat with a large noose. Think rabbit but bigger. H Quote Link to post
