Years ago we used to put carpet in the bottom of the boat and bring ewes & lambs out to the islands that way.

 

Bloody posh sheep you have, did you put some ornaments about and hang some mock drapes for them too ? :laugh:

Chandaliers, fountains, the lot, no expense spared :laugh:

 

See the bottom (inside not underneath) of the boat isn't flat, it'll be tarred and wet most days on the sea, so if the carpet wasn't there the sheep slip and fall all the time, not good!

 

whats the wee round boats some made of hide i think.are they curras too.

I'm of the same opinion on them as yourself! Saw them a few times on TV that's all, probably feel safer rowing out to sea on a fried egg with two chips as oars :thumbs:
