A couple of days in the lives of VerminHuntersTV's own Davy Thomas and Si Pittaway

Great video again lads, I would have thought that the .22 pellet would have not deformed at all at that range are you using the Super Fields in your HW 97 . What power would it have struck the rabbit at Si ?

5.3 foot pounds at 75 yards is the retained energy.

Plenty to kill a rabbit.

2.8 is at 140 yards Davy  .

funny that,i knew i would get it wrong!!!:laugh:

Good stuff the pellet placement has done the deed. Great shot I have just watched it again, looks like the pellet just cracked open the top of the rabbits skull. :good:

No mate, I've never took the thing out yet, keep meaning to, I need to speak to Darryl but my mobiles playing up at the minute on my network I use.. He said he will take a look at the reg and rifle for me...Then I'll get some action.. I just got it for pigeons and rats really, but I'll do some bunny bashing with it too, the thump of a rimfire connecting sends everything for cover when your sat out.. :D

You know what. When you are bloody stuck inside and it's belting down with rain, these vids are a Godsend. At least to be able to relax and watch bloody top class lads making superb sport out of their shooting is a joy to me.

Well done Si and Davy.

Can't praise what you do for the sport enough.
