Guest cookiemonsterandmerlin
Well after a good few years of ownership a younger model caught my eye the other day, well after a test ride I can confirm the chassis is tighter the bodywork is better and she is more responsive . And right wrist does not ache as much so do you think I should stick with my trusty old ride or go for newer model. Your comments much welcomed ATB Cookie

jasper65 6
Redline the new model Cookie and see how far she goes before she hits the rev limiter, Unfortunatly my old models suspension is getting a bit saggy and could also do with top end rebuild and re-sleeving. not surprising when I think about the amount of times the old piston has been hammering her cyclinder bore, the backbox is getting a bit loud these days too.... also plenty of piston slap and rattles when I get at the peak of her rev range .... Jasp

She was screaming her lungs out but never missed a beat. She about threw me off 3 times but i managed to hold on...... The feel of the leather against my skin and the chains and nuts and bolts holding everything together......You certainly keep her well serviced and oiled up mate......... It was scary at the time but once i was off i was wanting right back on again...
