like minded people, i just thought i might save myself some time by asking if anybody reloaded these rounds with said powder, might save myself a little time and expense by posting this, must be i'm getting old cheers

Hello i know this is diffrent but 37gVARGET with 87g v-max sorry never tryed 75g in 243.Varget is a good powder good coverage of bullet wieght's but is a new powder to me but i got a new tub for a £10 & look to try it in my 22.250 or 25/06.

thanks for that v-max, what specs such as primer,cartridge, did you use for the 87grain v-max and what kind of accuracy did you achieve with the load, also did you chrony the speed ?

Now this may sound a bit pedantic, but what action do you have and what barrel length ??¿

So you are hell bent on making that .243 come up tp 6.5 X 55 or 6.5 X 68 standard. If yo are prepaired and I think you are for what ever reason there may be behind your ways of thinking, I could put you in touch with a bloke from my old home country that makes bullets out of solid copper on a CNC lathe to a very very tight tillerance. His minimum order is 500 and he will take his time for the individual wishes that you may have, Here is one of a .243 hollow point .... a thing of beauty and if that don´t give you a twitch in the denims, he will make what ever you want.

By the By snap... in future can you do the woking out to convert things to metric if ye do want another answer of me, as I am a metric kind of person ( kraut ) so that I don´t have to sit with a calculator at the laptop converting things

Just give me grams , CM and bar, tha way, if someting goes wrong its you and not my inabitilty with math
