PlasticJock 539
Fairplay to him.... Didn't think it was much of a match at all but there you go. Hope to see him get properly tested over the next year before meeting the Klitschkos

But dont think he would be ready for the Kiltschko brother for a good while , needs to just step up a bit better fighter, not jump up to fast .

PlasticJock 539
He reminds me of Valuev because of his height and reach... Someone with heart would beast him into next Tuesday. They say every fighter needs to lose to gain perspective, once he's lost once or twice who knows? But for now I'd put more money on a couple of heavyweights I know who've never fought pro!!! miller 18
Not surprised he won! I have only seen him fight little old men nowt to brag about.
chilli 381
It wasnt a bad fight but he's long long way off been good enough to take on any top heavy weights. As has been said he needs to step up in getting better opponents before even shouting off about taking champions on .

But dont think he would be ready for the Kiltschko brother for a good while , needs to just step up a bit better fighter, not jump up to fast . he should fight price but i dought it ran a mile last time the fight was on the last time he fought price he was 17 yrs old and had 8 amateur fights behind him ,price was a mature man aba champion and commonwealth games champion .he floored price and generally made a mug of him .the last time as you call it tys manager mick hennessy offered price 100k to fight .price cried i cant im with sky .ty has much bigger fish to fry at the moment .if this fight does take place he will totally destroy price the way he destroyed rogan only more convincing .price is an overhyped aging amateur whos very ponderous and very predictable .he fights like an amateur hes very upright with a slow jab with not much coming behind it ..every fight now tyson is getting better hes very strong has great hands and throws great combinations with accuracy and power .price has fought no one of worth his last fight against sexton ,big wow ,i could beat sexton with ten pints inside me ..slang tys opponents all you want but study who theyve fought and gone the distance with before being stopped by ty .look at the opponents the klits are fighting this latest one is nearly ninety .tys a very young man whos improving all the time hes for the first time hes injury free from serious back problems .its only this last year hes been able to even train properly and look at the results .just for the record hes got a younger brother bigger stronger and at the same age better than ty ,give it another year and price wont even get past him .
gnasher16 30,217
.ty has much bigger fish to fry at the moment . Brookie i always look out for your boxing posts as i think you speak sense.....and as ive said before i wish Fury every success he,s a great talent for one so young....... But saying " ty has much bigger fish to fry at the moment "........................i dont understand that.....i dont really understand how a fight like that last night was even allowed to take place....Fury is a world top 10 rated heavyweight.............how he was allowed to fight an opponent last night who was rated 208th is beyond me !!!!! I understand the need to protect Fury and i dont fall for all the stalling tactics that take place when you have 2 young domestic level fighters with such promise......Price wouldnt want a fight with Fury at this moment any more than Fury would want one with Price.......obviously they cant say that publically and its nothing to do with fear of losing.....it just doesnt make sense in any way.......but i think Fury lets himself down with his " i,ll fight anyone now " attitude.......he,s a young lad and probably an exciteable kid so you have to make allowances, but i think the " bigger fish to fry " comment is probably a little bit silly after last nights choice of opponent. PlasticJock 539
Well said Gnasher, his ''I'll fight anyone now'' attitude is exactly why I think he needs to lose. Klitschko had sound advice when he said ''Be your own man, don't try to emulate Haye or anyone else...'' As soon as he does he'll end up embarrassing himself like Haye did
