This coming season, who's looking forward to it?

Well everything's well up round my way, crops starting to ripen and the covers thick. As far as huntings concerd its pretty much non existent whilst the young are born and next years sport matures. I've managed to bag the odd bunny with the shotgun whilst it hugs the over grown hedge rows or getting the rare low flying pigeon whilst out mooching with the dogs and gun. However I'm longing for the fields to be cut and the days to shorten so I can get out with my little whippet cross on the Lamp. This will be her first season having just turned 13 month and I have high hopes for her. I'm hoping the months spent socialising and training her come good this coming season and that she provides plenty of game for pot. Who else is looking forward to it and what dogs will you be running? All the best for the coming season lads

I cant wait!!! Been out for a few nightime rambles and im itching to slip a dog, caine getting big now, its hard to believe hes only 4/5mths as hes so tall, the collie whip bitch is very keen and im thinking of introducing her to the lamp even though shes tiny... Only 2more months to go
