I agree with a lot of whats being said, there are a lot of guys out there that dont care about the breeding season and ruining the sport for the winter months .But as some one with a lot of permission

I rarely , if at all, go out in the summer. If I come across a new permission then I will just to get the job done and maybe keep the place for winter. If the dogs catch while out walking , then so

it's sometimes called bringing a pup on, why would you bother what others are doing anyway.?

Too wet in the winter? You looked outside lately?

It's a heatwave here in Bearville mate :toast:

Same here mate. Had the BBQ out yesterday :toast:

Eh? Should've realised as soon as I saw the big [bANNED TEXT] I would have no idea what I was actually meant to be reading!! I type Scottish to my Scottish counterparts, and I'm sure most can understand it, but that is just laziness, but if that's how you rock then crack on, no doubt someone can read that!

Bumped into a lad yesterday who brought a dog down from Appleby. He was bigging it up about his "gypsy bred" dog. Had three out of three hares last week. I told him to take their nappies off before he feeds 'em to the dogs.

And people wonder why I prefer to hunt alone!

I'm all for a summers daytime/evening mooch, keeps dogs keen and on thee toes, if the dogs pick something up then so be it, and if there so happens to be a decent night for a quick local shine then I may do that, but it would be heat of the moment, I'd never schedule anything in for weeks in advance and I certainly wouldn't be travelling a distance, also when running a young dog on your not going to be hammering the young dog in once or twice every 2-3weeks till season starts is suffice, and I certainly wouldn't be bragging about big bags in summer or summer hares for that matter.
