Simoman 110
I hope Silva loses badly his fights are very boring, the worst champion to watch the UFC has ever had. Couldn't agree more..........
nitestalker 28 209
No more boring than gsp horrific to watch I think the spider will be out to prove a serious point tonight I hate sonnen annoying cocky junkie b*****d
Simoman 110
I agree GSP is in danger of being known as a decision specialist. I'd sooner watch a fighter going for a win than a fighter trying to get a decision on tactics. Much more exciting as a fan imo, i can appreciate skill but i dont like to see fighters aiming for a points victory before the first bell even rings.........People like Anderson Silva/Jon Fitch/GSP all use their skills to win a fight, rather than finish one. Thats why i like seeing fighters like Griffin/Henderson etc

I forgot in which fight it was but he was told by the UFC managment in between rounds to stop what he was doing and push the pace he apoligised to the crowd afterwards for his disgracefull performance even though he won! Fact is counter fighting and fighting to win on points sucks big time and bores the fcuk out of me. Edited July 8, 2012 by Moscow
moonlighter 1,164
That knee must of done some damage because when you watch the flow mo replay he drops for no reason and hardly takes any ground n pound.

I think was after the Thales Leites fight, even Dana apologised to the fans for the evasive tactics and boring fight. I think its a shame Sonnen lost, im bored of watching Silva hold the belt. Does anyone have a link for the other fights, seen highlights of Griffin/Ortiz and Silva/Sonnen, but MMA linker and MMA share aren't showing the fights................ RossM 8,119
Heard that forrest griffen ruined it for Ortiz with his post fight antics, real shame as back when UFC was starting out, Tito was the one to watch.
Lab 10,979
Here Simo you haven't got Jackie Chans phone number have you.....Chaels looking for it.......... Time for Tito to bow out now anyway....he was tired after 2 mins. He's not the scary guy he was 5/6 years ago. Forrest is slower than a week in the jail and if he keeps on fighting then he'll loose the majority of his battles too....

That pretty much sums up everything wrong about the ufc...........what started off as a pure challenge to see what style of fighting could win over the other.................over a very short period of time has turned into " who cares what style of fighting wins fights, just entertain me "..........and thats coming from the MANAGEMENT of the organisation not fans !!!.........................sad waste of a potentially great sport if you ask me. Are you saying you like watching fighters who counter fight and fight to win on points? Massive difference between fighting not to loose and getting in there and trying to win and finish by submission or KO. You say sport when the UFC 1st started out it was far from sport. It started off as " no rules "...." cage fighting " whatever you want to call it.....it was started to see what the outcome of a " real fight " would be........yes id call that a sport. Ok over the years the rules have changed to suit tv etc........but it should still essentially be " a fight " not a means of entertainment.....i dont care how a fight ends as long as its a true fight...............................if the management are going to dictate how one of the greatest fighters of the sport wins his fights your on a steady path to silly boys wrestling................you cant tell someone how they can or cant fight and then call it a true fight. If you want entertainment go to the cinema and leave the purity of sport out of it. Edited July 8, 2012 by gnasher16
