shepp 2,285
I've always liked borders, really bright little dogs, i've heard there known as 'the gentleman of the north' I'll get myself one, one day. I used to have a border terrier cross whippet, most loyal, trouble free dog i've ever owned. Quote Link to post
Guest oldskool
the closest i had to a border was a border x lakeland... what a crackin wee bitch she was, died at 18 years old... owned her from she was 2... she threw alot to the border... i went look about a border but all i could find was expensive show shite Quote Link to post

luke 2
does anybody work them to ground?there some smart dogs my favs i had a halve cross once hard as a coffin nail.i think most border owners dont want them marked up but there one of the few breeds that havent been spoiled by the kennel club.i run ped whippets and there cracking wee pot fillers game as hell but its the same with them the owners dont want them marked up but there must be some still working these wee dogs to ground cracking pics by the way Quote Link to post
nelson 0
Heres one getting dirty doing the job it was bred for. There are people working Borders all over, what puts folk of them is the ridiculous price, that coupled with a smaller working gene pool means you have to look carefully for a working strain that is still being worked. Also there are easier to enter terriers on the go and the fact that every terrier show is crammed full of, "Marshmellows" and " Trixiewoo's" gets the back up of the lads who do go out and work their terrier's, Borders or not. Just my opinion mind. Quote Link to post
