BEARINATOR 2,867
It's going to let me mate, stick a few traps down and remove any food sources that they are there for Quote Link to post

JRTMAD2k10 11
the prob is we have four dog runs in our garden its a good size garden but there has been like a new housing estate built on the other side of are fence the building has been going on for a few years now and we have had mice before, but they have recently started digging on a new place and we even had 5 badgers walking up the lane together and foxes going by our window :s but anyways i have a car up here and my dad was teaching me round the garden n up n down the lane in it so we put the dogs in and troy are german Shepard didnt eat all his food he usually eats it later so when i drove up and looked over at his kennel ( the one he uses when hes on night patrol ha) there was a big rat going over into his food bowl... so we cant use poisons or traps as the dogs would end up eating the poison or getting trapped :s Quote Link to post
BEARINATOR 2,867
http://www.ratandmousepestcontrol.co.uk/details.asp?ID=31 invest in a rat bait box then, rats can get in for the poison but pets can't. Or get a smoker and bolt them to the terriers Quote Link to post

BEARINATOR 2,867
there is always the risk of secondary poisoning, it might be an idea to place traps in some tunnels made out of wood. 2 sides and a roof is all that is needed, just make sure that the sides are big enough for the trap to spring shut Quote Link to post
Granite 3
Its common sense to do the sides like that. I dont think anyone would make that mistake lol. put some pics up BEARINATOR of your traps and catches. any methods successful one I mean. ie food bait and posistion of the traps. oh and things that dont work. maybe Ian could make this a Sticky. Seems Bear is like a book ha ha ha. Always full of advice like Frain and Plumber. Quote Link to post
