Wouldn't know about the cat food. Most birds can handle hard boiled egg though.

The eggs done the trick :good::clapper:

Mixed the jelly out of cat food with their water and they started to take it like they would from a mother bird. Only had to force fed the egg etc once and they are now taking it from my hand, and as i type are eating it from a dish :D

Ill give them another good dose of fluids and food later then its of into the aviary, and the rest is down to them.

alimac & big fish, im also a great believer in nature taking its course, but im also a great believer in fate. If it is meant to be they will survive and be released when fit, if not then nature will have taken its course. :good: If they had been badly injured i would of course have ended it straight away.

What is the best stuff i can get from a pet shop for mites?

Meal worm is good stuff Moll when I had a few Jackdaws they hammered them, I also used a few fishing maggots and cryslis :victory:, every couple of days I banged in a couple of drops of Cod Liver Oil <Vitamin A> to boost their Imune system up a tad, Mashed wheatabix with egg is somthing else I used, includeing Boiled eggs! some DOC's if Millet still has any will also do them now and again lightly chopped...

Pretty much anything and if you want to dig the Garden leather jackets will go down a treat ;)...

Cheers

They make excellent ferret food ;)

What would you do if you found a rabbit with a dislocated leg Moll' ?

A magpie with a sprained wing ?

A squirrell suffering from vertigo ?

I could go on :D

Apart from the rabbit, it would make a rare treat for the ferrets :D
