Hi jsb yep they will work with both just make sure their use to seeing both colours and there should be no problem.

When we were out we saw an albino squirrel and none of the birds reacted to, we put this down to them thinking it was just a tree climbing albino ferret!!!

I would add one other thing to this as I dont know if your hh has worked with ferrets before and that is fly her off your fist to start with and what ever colour you are going to use I would put a rabbit in one of the holes and drag it out a few times as soon as you put the ferret in the hole this will help cement the bond of bird and ferret you should get to know over a little time if your bird sees the ferret as food she will probably bait off fist or look a bit to keen once seen out of the hole. you may no this already but just in case I have a rt that works over ferrets of any colour but she has killed 2 not mine that got into her aviary and yes I know I was lucky they did not kill my bird.
