What is the weirdest or funniest craziest thing you've ever seen whilst coursing my good friend told me he once saw lucky cross a road on a hare and look both ways before crossing the road now my friend is known to be a joker but he swears blind it's true I was just sat here thinking about it so thought I'd ask the weirdest most embarrassing thing to happen to me was caught on camera I slipped the dog on the brow of a hill the dog stopped after 40 yards unsighted as he came back to me a or the hare came running over the hill on video it looked like the hare was coursing the dog ATB fagan

seen a bobtail collie lurcher chasing a rabbit through a hedge an when it didnt return, we walked up an looked over the hedge, it was humping a tethered goat

Wow I've just choked on my drink no one in room expected anything funny so I look like a nut job now ha ha

this isn bout coursing but theres a fella round my way his nick name is larry the duck his not full sausage the boys shot a fox and cut the tail off it and stood it by his pierr of the house the next night he was up in the pub telling them all that a bobfox was knockdown outside his house they asked how did he mean a bobfox he said its the same as a bobcat they have no tails either

watched a hare come past us with a dog 20 yards behind it then another dog then another then a subaru then another 3 subarus came along the lane , i thought it was funny at the time , , i can even remember one of the lads shouting at the last dog to "get on " lol happy days 1

My favourite is always when the quarry takes itself out and all the dog has to do is pick it up. Seen rabbits that were away, knock themselves clean out on fence posts.

 

Also had the quarry and dog run over the top of me, which was funny for the guy i was lamping with at the time.

few years back was out for acourse the dog was working abig rab giveing it stick when the rab and dog came straight at me the big rab jumped into my arms so i gaught the dog and let the rab go for another day

Went out lamping once slipped dog on a hare then suddenly come flying back round and knocked its sen out on me leg. Fcuking killed me shin the dopey b*****d.

ive had a few funnies ,one night a lad with a mastiff wanted to excerise his dog whilst we were lamping rabbits and my old bitch ran one up and down dale then ran towards the bull mastiff only for the mastiff to lower his head and the rabbit knocked itself out he was well chuffed his 9 stone dog caught a rabbit lol ,the other one what comes to mind was rabbitting with rifle on back of pick up only to see a fox coursing a rabbit we lit up the rabbit anf fox looked like a trained running dog and it was in long grass so obvious using its ears as its hunting skill not our lamp ,was very impressive,

similar to me out night. In a big 30 acre field and a telegragh pole in the middle...yep you guessed it. rabbit ran straight into it after a 30 yard dash.

and another night i was lamping a rabbit, as the dog ran up to take it out of its seat. there was a farm cat and a fox either side of the rabbit, just about to pick it up.

not really related i dont think, but ive heard of lad whos dog ws coursing a hare on the lamp, hare ran backtowards them and the lad over shadowed the hare in the lamp, big collie grey rn straight into is legs broke his left leg i think it was , funny for us, not for him hha

a 11 years ago now i was out lamping with my mate we slipped one of my dogs on a hare it started coursing it but instead of running down the field it came back towards us and started running round and round in circles by the gate this went on for about 2 mins we thought the dog was going to collapse with dizzyness. atb

abit similar to yours but years ago i was lamping a rabbit and it came running back towards us and for no reason my pal just decided to do a dive and try to catch rabbit with him missing it and then dog running straight into him, he nearly killed himself and dog, lol, the daft twat, ha
