Ideation 8,216
My favourite is always when the quarry takes itself out and all the dog has to do is pick it up. Seen rabbits that were away, knock themselves clean out on fence posts. Also had the quarry and dog run over the top of me, which was funny for the guy i was lamping with at the time. gibbo1973 187
ive had a few funnies ,one night a lad with a mastiff wanted to excerise his dog whilst we were lamping rabbits and my old bitch ran one up and down dale then ran towards the bull mastiff only for the mastiff to lower his head and the rabbit knocked itself out he was well chuffed his 9 stone dog caught a rabbit lol ,the other one what comes to mind was rabbitting with rifle on back of pick up only to see a fox coursing a rabbit we lit up the rabbit anf fox looked like a trained running dog and it was in long grass so obvious using its ears as its hunting skill not our lamp ,was very impressive, Quote Link to post
