my badger dog

I'm the person who said no terrier can stop a badger underground.. But thats only if the badger really wants to get out! Shur think about it... A badger is way heavier and stronger than a terrier no matter how good the terrier is.. But this is only if the badger really really wants to get out!

If thats what you think tommy then you obviously have not seen a good dog work badger {pre ban of course}.

A good terrier wont let a badger run past it but if a badger really really wanted to get through he would!

There must be some real talented dog lads on here, able to judge exactly how a dog will work from just one picture, impressive.

The dog is a single handed worker by the looks, and going by what ive seen & read he's a genuine dog that you can dig to a couple of times per week, owned by a genuine fella. Whats not to like? &

he wont if the terrier is any good at his job. the badger maybe heavier than the terrier but th terrier in his/her mind is stronger and more game and most of all the boss below ground and he will get his guy so to speak. it will make the brock think twice about challenging him to get past .it will learn as it gains experience how and what way to work its quarry but most off all to win the dual between quarry and hunter or die trying. all read about while over in france.

Not if the dog in front of it was bred the right way and able to up the gears when push comes to shove, its the last few min of any dig that tests a terrier, the break through, thats when they need that extra gear imo,all back in the good old days when it was all legal, will we ever see them days again or will the polliticions kill our sport forever.
