happyferret123 13
Saw this on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Frozen-Polecat-Ferret-/160836230105?pt=UK_Collectables_AnimalCollectables_SM&hash=item2572961bd9#ht_500wt_1287 Just thought it was a bit horrible. Could have been someone's pet doesn't look like a wild polecat. Plus didn't think you would be able to sell it on like that!? Quote Link to post

patterdalejoel 669
way sound silly, but how do they dispatch it without damaging it, or from shot? gassing or what? Quote Link to post
happyferret123 13
Just seems a bit mean, if it did belong to someone to then see it on ebay. So if someone ran over my cat they could then sell in on ebay for taxidermy without any rules or regulation? Quote Link to post
Furittus 35
sad person, must really be in recession. Quote Link to post

Not being rude but how can you tell that from that photo, have you ever seen a wild polecat in the UK? Quote Link to post
happyferret123 13
True, just expected one to be darker. I was just surprised that you could sell 'real' animals on ebay...though saying that someone tried selling their baby on there once. And my geography teacher used to always boast about selling one pound coins to people in other country's for lot of money, so I suppose anything goes! 1 Quote Link to post
BEARINATOR 2,871
And my geography teacher used to always boast about selling one pound coins to people in other country's for lot of money :hmm: I'm away to advertise some  A disgrace selling a dead ferret on ebay is what I think 2 Quote Link to post
Tug 168
We have an option to sell dead corvids to a taxidermist because the goths spend a fortune on stuffed crows and stuff. Taxidermy is a legitimate form of art, road kill is one of their biggest sources of stock along with shooting. What is so bad about selling a dead animal that is to be used for artistic purposes? I could see your objection if it was killed to order... It's no different to selling any other animal, you won't get a turn of conscience from me when I sell stuff to a game dealer or pub kitchen. nothernlite 18,089
no different from selling a frozen rabbit or hare atb Quote Link to post
B.P.R 2,798
What was it? The link doesnt work. Quote Link to post
jac 12
Yah but that may be someones lost pet as ferrets dont live in the wild. The add said it was traped and killed. when it should have been traped and haded over to a rescue for the owner to find. Nothing wrong with wild Animals dead body being used, but a domesticated pet. thats just wrong mate Quote Link to post
The one 8,483
Who complained its been removed ?. it also looked very light for a wild polecat no the nice dark £50 ones that gets some guys moist .
