Cracking bit of kit mate.

Ive used one and find them very good.

Nite Site's Jake contacted me yesterday at work and it looks like they are interested in sending me a unit out to film with for them and review.

Just have to see what happens

I use a NS200 and it is spot on. The shooting position takes a bit of getting used to but I would get on ebay and buy one of the smaller battries, the one wich come with it weighs a lot and some filters for the screen.

Ive got the Ns50 (still waiting to sell it to ryan666 if he ever comes to collect) and i know its practically the same apart from the camera,

they are very good bits of kit, i had no problem out shooting up to 60yrds with mine so i know you will have no problem spotting vermin much further

I would definitely invest in a different camera attachment though, the black sleeves are annoying, oh and if the image is blurry the camera lens turns to focus and you will get a crystal clear image  once set set up you can just stick it on and away you go, very good  and get the Li-ion slimline battery from ebay its a godsend (£15)

Ive been using the ns200 for five months now on my sub 12ft lb pcp, rimmy and fac air. Its a cracking piece of kit! Ive made a few mods to it which a lot of other ns users have also started to do. Ive got the small lightweight battery and a Cobra Merlin DSA to replace the supplied rubber jobbies.

Ive shot rabbits to 80yds+ at night and spotted them at 150yds+ i love the aystem as its so easy to interchange between rifles.

I've yet to find something that unit does better than a Sony camcorder, telescope adapter, and a £35 odicforce.com ir laser. Battery attaches to cam. Cheap Li-ion rip off batteries.

£150 max vs £399 for the ns50 which is half the range.

My comment is completely unqualified, not having used the nite site units, but from experience of the DIY arrangement, nite site would have a hard sell convincing me to change.

Mine and Davy's NS200 arrives tomorrow from Dave from NiteSite.

A real gent to talk to and even said we can keep it due to us doing some good clips for him.

He said he is a big fan of our channel.

First time I've spoken to the bloke and he gives VerminHuntersTV a £600 unit for free. Now that's good services for our channel.

Well your channel will be an excellent source of advertising for him, have a nice word see if you can get an NS50 to test alongside it, do a comparison between the 2, the NS50 is a very good little unit. Illuminates well to 60 metres (under the right conditions, I think I nay have had those the times I was out with mine). Would make an interesting feature!

I've just had to send my Nite-Site NS50 back for a couple of problems. The failure that made me have to return the unit was the multi-position switch on top of the screen failed. So i made a phone call to Nite-Site and they said to return the faulty unit (which i had already figured that out for myself). Since having the Nite-Site which is about 5 months i have never been totally happy with the focus of the cross hairs, i have been in contact with Jake over this and to his and the companies credit he has said if we were able to get together he would look at the camera.

As i was having to send back the screen unit back i decided to send the camera part back aswell. With-in three days i had the screen unit aswell as the camera unit returned to me and upon checking found that the company had replaced the faulty switch aswell as the camera. So all in all in my eyes the company has done what i would like a company to do in these circumstances.

Now if Nite-Site feel the need to give free units out as a way of sponsorship this long after the inital release, i would guess that with all the video clips on You-Tube of "home made" along with other night-sites they are very worried. With Nite-Site sponsoring Si and Davy on VerminHunters tv i think that they (Nite-Site) have chosen the best channel with a large numbers of subscribers. I think that Nite-Site the company did the hard part by having the first thoughts of cheap night vision and now more and more people are having a go themselves.
