Need a garddog and fasted

Recommended Posts

No i will agree with you their, i wouldn't buy a dog soley to protect my others, unless that dog received the same attention, care, exercise and stimulation of any other dog. CCTV an other option are less work. I have kept and competed with my own dogs and part of their role was to protect me, mine and ours, including the other dogs, trouble is we are ALL at risk of dog theives nowadays..................

I see what your saying their simo, but how would CCTV PREVENT them getting stolen, I can see how it could help get them back but how could it prevent it?

Cheers fd.

If someone is determined enough, bar sitting awake 24/7 they will tax it. Regardless whether it's CCTV or a guard dog. Making your property visibly secure in hope they will target a less difficult property is all you can hope for.

It's a sickening thought coming home to find ya dogs gone..... If you live on ya own and work a 40hr week it's always at the back of ya mind. If thieves only struck at night I could deal with that no probs but it's during the day when I'm working that puts the shits up me. Some clever security systems around these days though, especially when connected to modern smart phones.

I only hope I never have to go through it. I can honestly say I would rather put a dog down than have it stolen, really does sicken me thinking about it.
