training on the lamp

alright all been out with me dogs on the lamp to do a spot of training , its was there first time on the lamp and they have both done me proud

took tas (fown bitch) out on thursday night , 2 short runs by the hedge and the 3 she caught and fetched it to me . went out lastnight with ink (blue bitch) same again short runs and she caught by the hedge

both are 9months and comin on nicely cant wait for the season to start fezz

ALL have caught rabbits so far from 1 rabbit to 14 (Zak has caught 14 so far 4 were by accident while just out walking),

 

2 have even been trained to work with hawks also and are doing brill!!

 

all the owners keep me up to date and they couldn't be happier, and have even asked me when I'm breeding Chance again as they have friends wanting the same as thier's,

 

BTW I'm not planning to breed from Chance again as I have all the dogs I want and couldn't be happier, but I'll never say never as something could happen (praying that nothing ever does though)

cheers luke mate , i wouldnt now mate as iv only ever had 3|4 x but cant see there being a lot of differance

Fezz, yes Keeta, Lexi and Zak have all been out on the lamp with my brother, it took Keeta a couple of times to get the hang of it but Zak is a natural and Lexi wasn't far behind too, couldn't be happier with them

 

got no ferrets though so they haven't even see one of them!

 

had a massive offer for Zak off one of my brothers friends £500 my brother and I both said NO WAY! he's a real rabbit machine and he's staying put for the rest of his life,

 

he'll make a great stud one day, and he's really tall too, he towers over Keeta and Lexi, he's 24" TTS at the moment and the speed of him is out of this world!

 

Zak is owned by my brother and me, were partners in everything that goes on with him, but he stays here with me and his mum, and sisters

Rocco has taken a few after ferreting but i've been saving Sassie as my secret weapon, she is lightening fast and seams alot more keen than Rocco, as i say they will both be out this time off and see how they fair. that's if i can get her off the couch.....
