Fantastic Playing Card Shot

Recommended Posts

The pictures you see are of a brilliant shot at a playing card edge on.

The fantasic thing is this shot was taken at 25 yards at the club we go to.the shot was taken by my 12 year old son with his BSA Meteor 22 scoped with a AOP 3-9X 40 I think it is using RWS Superfield pellets and from a kneeling position.

I am absolutly so proud of my lad and his shooting.he shot this with his second shot, as you can see the first shot skimmed the card leaving a slight mark near the no 2

We was at the club and a few lads was shooting the cards with there pcps my lad said can i have a card dad please, i said i recon so mate, i asked the lads for one and set it up down the range, stuck in blue tack, my old work mate was sat next to my lad he said if you hit that with that springer youll put all these lads to shame with their pcps??? my lad as he sat on the floor said where is it dad lol,

I explained the position and he found it through his scope cocking his rifle and kneeling taking his first shot which as you see skimmed the card then cocking and taking his second shot, kneeling my lad said ive got it dad i could just see down range the card was at a right angle i stopped the others from shooting and went to collect the card where i was over the moon with my lads shooting skills especially at 12 years old with a springer i was so excited for him i gave him the card where i said well done son and gave him a squeeze and a huge pat on his back he smiled like a cheshire cat.

we had only just scoped the rifle and ZERROED it in on the same night. absolutly fantactic.

what do you think guys??????

i have told his gran and grandad and my girlfriend who are also in to shooting who are over the moon for him and impressed with his skills.

fantactic Son WELL DONE BUDDY.

What's the weight like on these 95s n?

Mate they are significantly lighter than a tx200 but significantly heavier than a meteor, probably inbetween, I wouldn't recommend one for a kid anyway. More of an adults light hunting rifle.
